Red Hope

SOL 001 · 00:00 LMSTFREE DESKTOP BROWSER DEMO

Red Hope

A little greenhouse. A future worth growing.

Build a home on Mars. Keep your people alive when the sky turns against you, and remember their names when you can’t.

Red Hope is a single-player Mars colony management and survival game. Start with four pioneers, grow a settlement of glass domes, and balance power, air, food and the people doing the work. The next dust storm is already on the forecast.

Your colony. Your calls.

Five things the colony will ask of you before the first storm clears.

01

Build for tomorrow

Place habitats, solar arrays and batteries. More beds are only useful if you can keep them supplied.

02

Give everyone a job

Set priorities for life support, gardening, repairs and construction. Pause to plan; resume to see your crew get to work.

03

Choose who comes

Each passenger request shows the four people asking to board: their line, their trait and who they came with. Take them as they are, or decline and wait for the next four. Book supplies, manage charter income, and decide whether a loan is worth its repayments.

04

Weather the storm

Prepare your reserves, get everyone inside and answer the storm’s questions: send someone out, or wait it out. Repair the damage when the sky clears.

05

Read the record

The expedition log keeps your colony’s story: arrivals, decisions, the shaken, the close calls and the lost, by name.

From the record

Three moments from the demo, as the colony saw them.

OBJECTIVEFOUNDING DAY

From first landing to Founding Day

  1. Eight of us, two homes. Grow to eight pioneers across two functioning homes.
  2. A whole storm at that size. Survive a complete storm with everyone sheltered.
  3. Two healthy colony hours. Keep every occupied home healthy for two colony hours after the sky clears. The founding watch waits while you repair a home instead of starting over.

COLONY FOUNDED Reach your founding ceremony, then replay or continue the demo up to 16 settlers.

Before you land

The expedition begins paused. Read the forecast, set your first orders and press Enter when you are ready.

  • Space pause or resume
  • 1 2 3 speed
  • WASD pan · Q E orbit · wheel to zoom
  • B build · click a pioneer or home to inspect · Esc close

The in-game tutorial can help you find your feet. Everything else is in the expedition guide.

Full game

In development

The full game is being built on the same colony: room to grow past 16, more to build and more to decide. There is no release date yet; we will say so when there is one.

New builds and devlogs land on itch first.
